Out of all the animals out there, there are some who have pretty unique, cool and even bizarre skills and qualities. There are many myths out there, like for example that polar bears are left-handed, sharks are immune to all diseases and bats ony fly left when leaving their caves. Most of the following facts should check out though, and here are a couple of my favourites!
The basilisk is nicknamed “the Jesus Lizard” since it can run on water
All bulls are color blind
A rabbit’s teeth will continue to grow during its entire life
Pigs orgasm for several minutes
Elephants are the only mammals that can’t jump
When dalmatian dogs are born they have no visible spots
Koalas can sleep up to almost 20 hours a day
If two great white sharks compete for food they will have a tail slapping contest to see who wins
A chameleon’s tongue can be twice as long as its body
Kangaroos are unable to walk or jump backwards
Dolphins sleep with one eye open
Since they are colorblind, red does not anger bulls more than other colors
